Meals

Angry Eagle Lodge prides itself on the quality and freshness of its cuisine. Freshly baked bread, rolls and pastries are served at the lodge. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available. Dinner menus vary depending
on the hunting schedule. We are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions or requests.

Laundry Service

As part of our full-service lodge, we provide daily laundry service for you. Simply place your laundry in the bag provided in your room and it will be laundered while you are out hunting.

Alcohol

Beer and wine are provided at the lodge. Hard alcoholic beverages are not provided at the lodge. If you would like to place an order to have at the lodge when you arrive, we can help you arrange it. You can also purchase alcohol in Anchorage to bring with you on your charter flight.

Communications

A local service provider, GCI, offers cell phone coverage for the village of Pedro Bay, but most major carriers such as AT&T and Verizon do not work with this provider. We suggest our guests use either Facetime or wireless calling on your cell phone once you have connected to the lodge’s wireless network.

Hunt Schedule

Mornings are early and you will want to be outside as much as possible to maximize your time hunting. After breakfast we will depart either by one of our three 28’ boats or via 4- wheeler. We will be hunting the lake shore from our own blinds or natural habitat blinds.

Factors such as weather, bear movement, etc. will dictate where we will be heading. We may also be floating some rivers in one of our flat-bottomed outboard boats. Typically we will head back to the lodge for lunch, but on occasion we will pack one.

Our store has a great selection of high-end gear for you to browse. We’re so remote that we recognize the importance of having a place to shop for extras or forgotten items.

The Best Gear

We offer only the best gear in our lodge store. We have equipment from tried and true brands such as Yeti, Simms, Benchmade, etc. Everything we have in stock is also used by our own guides, and has led us through decades of hunting and fishing seasons.

Necessities

If you’re at Angry Eagle, you’ve gone remote! When you’re up here in the wilderness, there isn’t a Walgreens where you can pick up that forgotten toothbrush or those cozy socks that you left on the dresser. This is why we offer all the general hygiene products that you’ll need during your stay.

Once you’re here, you’ll want to be a part of the Angry Eagle culture. It’s the best. In our store, you can pick up jackets, gear, and gifts that will represent your time spent here with us in Alaska!
